I liked it, but it was better on its own instead of mixed w/ Double Trouble.

Sounds wild as hell. I honestly wanna try it sometime. Pretty sure that a killer beer bar up north has cases of it in the cellar.

Gonna be reviewing this one for the mag? Early thoughts? I haven't been particularly impressed with Rivertown yet, but I've also not had a chance to try their lambic.

    Uh, no...

My palate may have simply been wrecked by all the supa fresh SN Hoptimum and Founder's Double Trouble (bottled on 04/10/13) I've been partaking of recently.

I assumed the turnover on Palate Wrecker would be quick, and that I would find fresh ones on the shelf (unless I bought the 4-pack that everyone pushes aside to get to the fresh ones behind it.)

From now on, I will always check the date of any year-round IPA/IIPA before I buy.

No but I have a couple others that will be in the mag ... thought it was as solid witbier.

I look forward to checking it out.

Solid is pretty much how I would characterize the beers I've had from them on the whole. I just don't like paying $11 a sixer for "solid" when I could pay the same and get Bell's, Founder's, Schlafly, Victory, etc.

Hmmm. What did it taste like? It should have a really pronounced pine resin taste to it and some hints of citrus. Besides that it's pretty much all bitter. I thought it was delicious.

Been drinking Stone Enjoy By 5.17.13 on tap at the English Pub in Pembroke Pines, FL. This is one delicious hop explosion!

    Cheers!!

Well, that's it. I've had it before and I was eagerly anticipating that piney taste, and zip. Nothing. Nada. There's no piney taste at all. Just bitterness and disappointment.

For a four-pack, it was a lot of money. I walked up to the counter with the Palate Wrecker and a sixer of Stone IPA when "my guy" mentions that Hoptimum is in. I can't buy everything. What am I to do?

I put the Stone back in the cooler.

    I chose... poorly.

good gourd by cigar city. probably the best pumpkin beer by far, that I've ever had. Wish I could try their oak-aged one.

Water now. Went to a Mexican b-day party for a one year old and had plenty of free modelo's and corona's. Bar after and had a free shot of Jameson from a cute girl at the bar and a free Stella from a bartender that we know. Water now before I go to work in the morning.
