    I've been looking for this forever, until I finally found it at a webshop. While Köstritzer are probably better known for their excellent Schwarzbier, their Pale Ale is actually really nice as well, and fantastic value. Pisses me off so much that I cannot find this anywhere at actual shops. I think it's been discontinued though, which is a real shame.

    Made a quick beer run to get some Sumatra Mountain Brown and made a quick stop at my favorite Dive Bar and I'm thoroughly enjoying a Dreadnought, on tap no less, by 3 Floyds.......tasty stuff.

    Took my aunt out for a ride in the country today and stopped in to Sloop Brewing. The Liquid Sorcery IPA is excellent.

    A rarity in this area are stouts. The local brewers just don't seem interested in always having a stout on tap. Sloop Bourbon Baked Bean Stout was just tapped so I ordered the stout and the IPA hoping the stout would have time to warm up some while enjoying the IPA. The stout was good, strong aroma of dark roast coffee. Tasted maybe the slightest breath of bourbon, mostly the dark roast coffee. Even as I finished it was still a little colder than I would normally have a stout. I should have grabbed a growler to really judge. Didn't even think to take pictures.

    Nice Brewery. I'll be returning with an empty growler.
