    I went to the store to buy this and all they had was 007. I was disappointed.

    Summit Union Series #6 Imperial Russian Stout, 10.5% ABV, 70 IBU. Pours dark black, with a finger of tan head. Nose is coffee, sweet dark fruit, moleasses, and a hint of brown belt leather - not shoe leather. Taste follows, with moderate bitter close. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent. Reveals more as it warms. Didn't pick up the soy sauce others mention, so added some. Didn't want to miss out.

    I think I've seen one store with the new rendition. Consumers definitely have to be careful they don't end up with the older version. When I bought 008, it was on sale. I figured it was a mistake since it was fresh and they just meant any 007 stock, but it rang up at the sale price!

    I was more so just surprised when I saw it posted on here. It felt like a quick turnaround from 008, although it's highly likely our stores got that one a little late.

    Good luck, and hopefully some 009 shows up soon!

    Thanks for the update. If 009 is soon to be released, how old would that make 007? Should it still be on the shelves?
