I'm thinking there was a much shorter time period than usual between 008 and 009. I bought my 008 maybe a month ago...? 007 was released a couple months before that. So 007 is right at the cusp of when it should be pulled from shelves, especially since it's a lighter IPA.

Shelves are still covered in the stuff around here though, so it's not like we've blown through our 007 and 008 stock just yet.

Not happy with this beer but I bought a four pack and have had one each night. To be honest, I drank half of each can and fed the rest to the azaleas by the front door. To be fair, it is a session beer so comparing it to a double IPA would not be right.

Clever Girl IPA

 

Happy Wednesday, BA's. I'm celebrating mid-week with Tiny Glow, an 8% DIPA released by Magnify today. It's described as "Vermont Style." I'm not entirely sure what that means but this is easily the most malt-forward DIPA from Mag that I've tasted. It's very different from the fruity, NE IPAs, and fruity, lactose IPAs that Magnify's been brewing lately. I'm liking it!

And it's pairing well with chowder and veggies.

 

Done with beer for the evening. Moving on. I would post but I still have two outstanding warnings so I need to comply with the policies.

I don't recall the last time I drank an entire sixer on a weekday . . . Or weekend for that matter but it's in my sights.
