Thirty degrees this morning but still it's bright and sunshiny out so I'm gonna pretend Spring is actually here . . .

Beautiful red-orange-gold color that immediately reminded me of cherry juice.

Aroma of cranberry mostly, but it's more than that so I'll say raspberry as well. Anyway, it's very berry.

Flavor on entry is a tart combination of cranberry and raspberry with the underlying beer serving as a carrier for the flavorings. Flavors are simple but clean yet the tartness impedes the berry flavors somewhat.

Light texture with more carbonation than necessary.

As a flavored Berliner Weisse this one comes across as, well, a flavored Berliner Weisse. I think, no, I'm sure, this would work better with less tartness.

Getting a butt going on the grill. I think it's a law that I have to have a beer, or six.

The wife is sick and asked for some cough medicine. I offered her this, and she laughed. I told her “Grandpa would have gladly accepted this cough medicine.”

Needless to say, I ended up drinking this. Cheers and good morning, BA!

What's up fellow beer lovers! Trying something new tonight. An amazing RIS aged in Scottish whisky barrels for a year. This is from Jopen in the Netherlands. This is insane stuff! Cheers all.

Trout with Pepitas and Sage Gremolata and Bok Choy with Apples Slaw. Surprise!

I want to be Grampa from the Munsters. With my hair sticking out straight and my face covered in soot "cause the shit blew up! Try. Try and fail. Try again. If you don't try then how are you ever gonna laugh?

What food do you pair with a blueberry beer? This food here. Cheers and TGIF!

The dressing for the slaw is vegetable oil, lemon juice, lemon peel. Thai ginger, and one clove of garlic, salt and pepper. Salt and pepper the skin of the fish and fry it on the bottom only. That makes crunchy skin. Press the crumbs on as it cooks and drizzle some of the oil from the pan on top. The beer is a sour but it is extremely low alcohol. Goes great with the lemon and apples.

Well, I gotta give praise to @TheIPAHunter again. This recent package has been full of goodies!

Wasn't sure what to think of this one, after looking at the description, but was pleasantly surprised... I DEFINITELY DIG IT! These Tired Hands beers have been a treat.

Switched over from the Tired Hands to this beauty called the Tahiti Substation. Super soft mouthfeel on this one... another killer brew!

Sold in 4 packs, and not inexpensively (at least in PA). Still cheaper than buying 4 500 mL bottles, though. According to info on the can, the importer had it shipped to the US and they canned it here.
