Good evening BAs. Trying this BlueTarp Cascade Killa out of Atlanta. There's no date on the can and it tastes kind of weird. Might have to grab something different from the fridge

 

my beer guy told me they were getting in KBS this week 12 and 22 ozers and I was like ehh I still haven't even bought your backwoods bastard since founders upped the price.

 

Finishing on a Santa Fe 7K IPA. Frogs & toads are trying to make babies before this next cold front moves in...

The closer. This is a letdown. No head. Muddled. Watery.

 

Last beer in the box from @DEdesings57 . I wasn't a huge fan of this one. Pretty rough and too many solvent notes, with hints of hair spray, pine sol, tangerine pith, and dough. Lots of perceptible IBU's. 3.25 out of 5.






Out of the box that you sent my favorite by far was Go Jo, but I really liked Touch Of Grey, and some of the Magnify options you sent. I would be up for trading again soon!

I like Seether. Had the opportunity to work with bob marlette last year who produced/co-wrote Seether's first two records. He was a major asshole, but it was an interesting experience.

I heard some great stories regarding shawn and the rest of the band.

Reminds me of earlier batches of Backwoods+ some rye spice...which is high praise because a few yrs back that was one of my favorites

 

Trying this beer out that @superspak sent me. Personally it seems too much like imitation vanilla, both in the aroma (especially) and in the taste. Like they dumped imitation vanilla in a coffee stout and called it good. I rated it 3.61 out of 5.



My wife likes it so I'll give the rest to her to drink

So, just got home from a show up the Mountain Road in Stowe at the Rusty Nail Stage. The Eames Brothers Band opened for Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band. Whew, what a great time. I had a Lost Nation can of Roll Away IPA, Ten Bends Cream Puff War on tap,



and now home for this new offering from The Alchemist.

@StoutElk_92 , this extra was actually much better than I anticipated. I'm not a very big Evil Twin fan when it comes to their stouts (too many of them taste like ash trays) but this collab was nice and I'm surprised at the low overall ratings. Perhaps it was too unlike Evil Twin that the Evil Twin fans hated it? I thought it struck a nice balance. The body bordered on porter territory but other than that I was impressed. 4.02 out of 5. Thanks man
