What beer are you drinking now? #1987

    Surprisingly enough I actually drank two beers today. The first was Houlton Chouffe, a Belgian IPA by achouffe and it was quite good. Was nice and bitter wit some citrus and the fruity kind of taste you get from Belgian yeast. Very unique and also very good.

    The second was Beaverton gamma ray, an American Pale Ale. This one was very heavy on the citrus, especially grapefruit on the nose, with that nice botter aftertaste I love. A good beer, not my favorite, but good.

    Time for some Subby. After cooking a ham, salmon, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, creamed corn, and preparing a salad, all while multi-tasking, I'd say the Hunter deserves this shiiit! Let's get LARRRGE!!!

    Mine from earlier tasted a little more raw bitter than I recall. But I might be getting too used to the softer NE IPAs. Another One was around about the same time as that near me. Get to try one of those?

    "raw bitter" is spot on. Even a tiny bit tongue numbing.
    As far as Another One, I believe I had one of those last summer but can't remember for sure. I may have to revisit.
