Amazing saison! One of my top favorites. Had Ginnepin a while ago, and wasn't as impressed. This one is still what I remember. Flavors of lemon, peach, pear, orange peel, red apple, melon, coriander, peppercorn, ginger, and light banana/clove yeast/spices; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; herbal, floral, grass and yeasty earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness, herbal/grassy/citrus peel bitterness; and light wheat tang/tartness on the finish. High carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy/silky wheat creaminess and yeast/hop/spice stickiness in the mouthfeel. Moderately increasing bitter/spicy/carbonated dryness. Refreshingly smooth. Amazing complexity with perfectly balanced yeast and spice flavors; on a solid wheat/pale malt backbone. Surprisingly light and dry feeling for 7.7%. World class stuff. Finished off the 4 pack, haven't seen it again yet. Seems to be hard to find lately. I usually go to Tank 7 more often because of that fact, always on the shelf anywhere(and cheaper now too in 6 packs).

Hefeweizen yeast NE DIPA. This was outstanding! Fantastic lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, guava, banana, bubblegum, and light pepper/clove/pine hops/yeast; with balanced wheat, white bread dough malts; herbal, floral, grassy hops and yeasty earthiness. Very mild pine/herbal/grassy hop bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready wheat and light hop/yeast stickiness in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing bitter hop/spicy yeast dryness. No cloying/astringency. Super drinkable, minimal warming 8.5%. This is basically just a Belgian IPA as a NEIPA. Very unique, hits both style characteristics on the nose! Might get another 4 pack.

I’ve got one left from 2014. I do not think it has improved with time. Last time I had it was over a year ago. Probably time to crack open the last one.

Almost the perfect post. Just needed a Springsteen song. Ok, I am a big fan and will take any opportunity to talk Springsteen. I lived in NJ for 22 years.
