Something to ward off the chill, Bayern Doppelbock . . .




Taste is full, complex and surges forward like a storm front. Rich like strong coffee but without bitterness. I can pick out the elements found in the scent but in flavor they all present together merging without bumping into each other. Consistent throughout where Noble hops show only in shadow yet manage to balance the whole. Finishes full and dry.

 

Happy Stoneday to all. Heading to New Orleans for a conference so will be largely absent from this thread all week, but I'll do my best to find some beer and report back...cheers!

Paris Roubaix "The Hell of the North is going on right now, of course I get to watch it tomorrow night. Unbelievable cycling event with 27 section of cobblestones.

So cool you know of the Hell of the North too! I so miss George Hincapie representing the U.S. in that race...

Able to watch the whole Nurmagomedov fight here - 4 vids labeled Parts A thru D - don't know how long it'll be around, so don't be surprised if its gone later - great fight really - no doubt Khabib was winning, but Iaquinta made a full five rounds out of it - on just a coupla days notice, and no real preparation... very cool...

Very sweet mango foward. Not aggressively bitter at all.
