    I'm doing the exact same thing over here. I'd have to say that of all stages that I've had this beer, a year or two really seem to be the sweet spot.

    Another post tempting me with that Southern Tier 2XMAS. I just might get to it tonight- that growler of Rushing Duck War Elephant I posted about earlier is going quick. In the words of Adrian Belew: "I wish you were her to see it!" It's an awesome beer, very much like a big Hop Stoopid with some elements of Maximus and Sucks thrown in there- I might just review theother growler I have tomorrow, just to add some more into the database.

    I won't post another pic from the same growler, but this is how I'm doin' right now:

    -My wife and I split a bomber of Great Divide Fresh Hop to start the night
    -Troegs Scratch 78 Fresh Hops
    -Stone IRS from 2008 (that was the year they released some in the 12oz bottles, although I forget why they did, anyone else remember?) Regardless of why, its REALLY good.

    Enjoying some college hoops, flippin between Maryland-Kentucky and the Georgetown-Florida games.

    Just tasted one from March 2010 recently. Blew me away. Was like big decadent pile of roasted malts and molasses, hops were impressively subdued but the base beer was amazing.

    Shorts Huma Lupa Licious IPA

    I've been torn between this and Two Hearted as to which is my favorite MIchigan-brewed IPA. Having had them both tonight, I'm still torn but leaning slightly towards Huma. Opinions?

    Also, both bottles were both about 2 months old (9/8 and 9/12),

    Just finished up a Furniture City, and "The Dollars" trilogy is on. Wonderful viewing, but can't stay up all night when a Breakfast Stout Breakfast comes so early! :slight_smile: Night all, ENJOY!
