man I could only imagine the pummeling feeling going through the venue's sound system. wish they'd make it to Ohio soon. ya, these guys and most of their label mates have been killing it. along with 20 Buck Spin, Headsplit, M.S.U.O. etc

 

They're loud, man, and heavy as hell. A smoke machine just pumps out clouds and they play behind smoke the whole time. Place was tiny too. This is when they were taking the stage.

that's a pretty good environment to contain such a dense sound IMO, just the right amount of compression and rarefaction to just slam you with the music

Had a buddy down last weekend and we had too many good brews. Somehow, this one didn't get cracked. I'm happy to take on the job tonight.



This is supposed to be the nightcap, but 16.9 ounces of a "nightcap" like this can lead to other decisions. And it's Friday. So we'll see.

As for this one, it's tasting just about perfect. Beautiful blend of dark fruit, bourbon, oak, spice, caramel. Damn this is nice.
