    Good Morning BA
Drinking the last of my stash after a miserable first night back to work...

Recycled picture, now beer. I've started keeping these in my cellar fridge at 55F and they are perfect. I guess this year I'll have to by a case instead of two 6 packs.
Cheers & enjoy what's in your glass today!

I am drinking Gotlandsdricka from Jester King and Weihenstephaner's Kristallweissbier. Gotlandsdricka is a smoked beer inspired by Gotlandsdricka, an old Viking specialty from my homeland Sweden. The taste is smoky/ashy, and smoked meat, with lemon and grapefruit, a strange but quite good blend of flavors. Quite light and crisp. Kristalleeissbier is a top notch filtered Wheat beer.

Greetings from Hamilton County NY. The third largest county in the State, in area... and the smallest in year-round population ! As I said in yesterday's post, I took today off from work to drive up to 'Piney Grove', the most excellent Adirondack camp that Amy and I bought in December. It's 49 degrees outside & slowly climbing, the sun is shining... there is still ice on the west end of Lake Algonquin. Check the view from my porch ! We are really looking forward to the summer ! Sittin' on my porch, drinking good beer and pickin' mediocre banjo, how cool is that going to be ?

I'm up here to do some minor work around the place, but figured 10am was a good time for a liquid brunch. Bear Naked amber ale from the Adirondack Brewery. Have to drive back to Albany in the afternoon, so it's probably iced tea for me after this is done.

I am thinking maybe a camp rule: we'll only serve & consume beer from breweries in the Adirondack Mountains, when we're up here.

Home for lunch to meet the "well guys". No water last night, I rang the wiring and had 220 to the relay, expecting a $2,500 new pump bill. Turns out the pressure switch was internally open. $155 instead of $2,500. I'm happy with Jai Alai....

Hotel-Beer, but really not bad. Vedett Extra Ordinary IPA from Duvel Moortgat. First time I see a canned version of this beer. It is even chilled
    Cheers!

I haven't been on the forums lately, but I am glad to make a return with this tasty treat.

I wasn't sure what to think of this when I first heard of it....but once I tried it, I could only think to quote the one & only Frank The Tank - "Once it hits your lips, it's SO good!"

    Cheers fellow BAs!

My local pizza place always has old nation and said he may be able to save me one of those for the weekend if he gets some. Here's hoping...

I recently had Gotlandsdricka and I thought it was very good. I enjoyed drinking it without food, but I could imagine it being killer with a hearty steak to play off the smoked flavor, or even a salad with some steak added.
