I bought a six of BrewDog Punk IPA a couple of weeks ago. A Scotland company with a facility in Ohio USA now, according to the packaging. Sure, I would try more of their beer.

 

Happy Tuesday ba. Starting with this thanks to @colts9016 -Domestically Challenged, dry hoped Pilsner, from the larimer brewing. Decently clean bready malts, lemon, spice, and rather earthy on the finish. Not getting much off the dry hopping. Decent and cool to try but im finding it a little lacking. 1/30/18,

 

Daily lager review. This is pretty good! Good head retention and spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big juicy oranges, lemon, and citrus zest; with lighter notes of cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy hop earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, zesty, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops/citrus in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness. Perfectly clean lagering. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.2%. Liked this a lot more than Lime. Definitely more flavorful, and I was a big fan of the juicy, vibrant, and zesty citrus flavors; with solid presence of clean light lager flavors. Really delicious if you like fruit beers. Really authentic feeling fruit flavors. 3.53


Mikkeller Gooseberry Berliner. This was excellent! Fantastic head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart/tangy lemon, lime, gooseberry, fruit skin, peach, pear, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malt balance; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy wheat, lactic acidic, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing acidic/tannic dryness, no puckering sourness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 3.7%. Never overly lactic. Awesome balance of lacto and fruit; with a nice malt backbone for the ABV. One of the better ones in the series so far. Passion fruit was my favorite. 4.08

I wasn't going to drink more tonight, but I ended up on dinner duty so I needed some liquid encouragement. Roasting some veggies and about to prep the fish for the oven as well.

Cant get enough of this one. Great price as well.

 

I love anything horror so it's fine by me! You're making me want to watch Tales from the Crypt now though...

 

An awesome beer. An interesting collector item. I used to collect baseball cards and stamps but skulls really left me in the dust.
