I really enjoy this offering by Wooly Pig they don’t make anything jaw dropping but their stuff is really solid.

I don't kid myself (or you)...as much as I get a thrill from the likes of GG Allin and such, I'd rather listen to more lyrical and/or palatable social sonic tunes...

Wrapping up the Goat Patch TIPA. Was gravitating towards some Grateful Dead Europe 72 and "Skull and Roses", and ultimately settling on one of my favorite discoveries from back in my days in West Berlin...

...perhaps a pseudo-transition from GG Allin to more approachable aires...

Took some convincing, but finally decided that it's okay to open this and drink it myself. I have so many beers that I'm saving for something or some day, but the fact is none of them are going to get better with age, so better to pop that top and enjoy! Everything Fremont does is really pretty terrific, but particularly love this one, maybe it's the licorice. Cheers, BAs!

Galacticake 9% DIPA from Clown Shoes...
Galactica plus Spacecake, presumably; a little late to the party with this 3/8 canning... Tastes full-bodied and fruity - fleshy fruits suggested include mango and papaya, with lighter impressions of melon and orange, all underscored by a chewy resinous caramel pine quality... Good, but maybe a bit "thick" in its flavors and feel for my personal tastes...

    Cheers...

Firestone Walker Union Jack ipa. 7%. This is the taste i was going for right now. Not NEipa, not Citra and mosaic. Nice and clear. Smooth. Crisp. Grapefruity. Hop forward. No gimmicks. Long finish with waves of hops and malt. I can't tell which lingers longer, I just keep getting waves of both. Solid ipa. Friendly price on the fresh sixer of cans.

Ok, so yes I own a calendar but it doesn't fall off the cliff on 4/20. Good beer and pizza!

Daily lager review. Pretty decent. Great head retention and spotty lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy hop earthiness. A bit too fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderate crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malt and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness. Nicely clean lager flavors, not overly fruity. Very refreshing and solidly flavorful, 4.8%. Nice clean malt/grains and decent earthy hop balance. Was a bit too heavy on the corn, but definitely enjoyable and not awful at all. 3.21

Wow this was fantastic! Awesome lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big raisin, plum, prune, cherry, fig, date, berries, apricot, and red apple; with balanced caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and toasted brown bread malt sweetness; with lighter notes of banana, pepper, clove, chocolate, cocoa, nuttiness, herbal hops, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/roast bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready malt mouthfeel; light stickty hops and chalky roast. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness. Zero cloying sweetness. Minimal warming 12.3%. Dangerously smooth. They really nailed this out of the park. Insanely rich and complex yeast and malts; with an awesome balance between both. Not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. Will buy a 6 pack to age if they are still around(likely). 4.28

Stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella :yum:, good eye! Thing 2 ate two of those which equates to 1/2 pound of meat. (Thus the sky high grocery bills around this house.)

What we have here, is not a failure to communicate. What we have is a loose Goot getting loose with the Moose, slathering a BBQ hoot...or some simple, sappy, poor attempt at rhythmic charm...damn beer, makes me mumble...
