My first after work beer is Wet Gravity by Foreign Object...Yowza...this is pretty intense for an ipa. Danky, zesty, lemon, big time hop bite. Not for the faint at heart. Cheers to a great day, everyone.

Seems like three of us tried to start the thread today. Anyway, until I can share a beer with her years from now, I will drink in honor of my daughter on her birthday.

    Happy fifth birthday Laura!

I used to loveeee this beer back when I was living in LA and would make the day trips down to San Marcos. I still really do enjoy it, just don't have it as much any more even though I do see it on the shelves pretty frequently.

Getting in a little oj out on the patio before hitting the hay. Even at 2 plus months, this still tastes great. Sucks, it’s beautiful out and I have to sleep, booooo

A rare morning with cloudy skies and some misty rain. Time to contemplate it all...with one of these fine Huberts.... cheers.

I am having Örter i Mörker (herbs in darkness in Swedish) a dark farmhouse ale from Jester King, Austin, Texas, brewed with pine needles, dill, caraway seeds, and earwood mushrooms, and aged in Akvavit barrels ABV 7.90%. Jester King claims it is inspired by Scandinavian culture, but it sure is a strange mixology to me too. The photo was taken inside but I am sitting outside in the dark but warm breezy Texas night drinking it. The flavor is slightly sweet and slightly tart and bitter, there's some dill, some pine resin, the Akvavit is clearly present, and there's some mushroom flavor. It is not my favorite farmhouse ale but considering the odd mix of flavors it comes out pretty good. It is definitely more than drinkable. While reading the ingrediences I was thinking that I might have made a mistake. How can I drink this? But it is fairly good.

Sorry for the double post above. Between the great beer and the daughter's birthday, I'm twice as happy as usual today!

Don’t apologize. Me and @JoeBloe both kicked things off within a minute of each other. Great minds think alike. Happy birthday to your daughter, cheers.

Black Forest Pils from Fürstenberg. Light and dry, with just enough hop sharpness. Would make for a good all-day beer -- for the weekends.

Thanks sir. I also started the thread within the same time frame but deleted it. Imagine if we had three up at once.

AC/DC Rock or Bust. A boring (but refreshing) lager from an exciting can.

Roughin it today... this is actually very refreshing and crisp. Not bad for a random pickup at a gas station. Fairly priced too at 5 doll hairs

A beautiful day to have off from work around these parts. So might as well have a beer with lunch on the deck.
First time having this brew, and I must say, Lagunitas’s pale ales are some of my favorites!

Manayunk Monk from the Yunk. 9% tripel.

Dropped the truck off at the dealer. Its a mess. Runs on a boat battery, no exhaust, yellow sludge in the oil. Its an old beast. Hope its not too tired yet. Need a beer. Cheers.
