An English bitter for lunch. Mostly unknown. Not too shabby actually.
Morning all a little coffee to start this hectic Wednesday. Cheers
Very nice Alt with a great balance of bready, caramel malt and grassy, citrus hops.
Good morning and good afternoon BAs! Thanks, @Shanex, for starting today's thread. So far, it's a looking like a sunny day as the fog burns off here in NW PA. That means mowing the yard and maybe spreading some fertilizer so the weeds (wild flowers growing in my yard rather than along the roadsides) can root deeper. Today's New Breakfast Beer is a BBA version of yesterday's NBB - and just isn't worth the price point:
Don't misunderstand - it's a drinkable brew but the base beer (Yesterday's NBB) tastes better and has a better price point. Bourbon barrel aging does NOT make every beer better.
Morning hump day BA's
nice new refreshing local brew
The Blackwater Series never disappoints!
Drinking down the fridge before trip... #1 for the day. Cheers!
Float Away IPA

Early lunch brew . . .
Clear amber tone with mild/medium malt aroma. Little hop presence (had to search for them) but a malty richness often absent from other AAL brands. Oh it's not first list, nor does it pretend to be, but a Mecerdes won't get you to the grocery store any better than a Chevy.
Now here's an oddity. 9/21/15 Dark Penance.
I came across this last week and since I couldn't find any back in it's day I decided to roll the dice.
Not sure if it's anything like it was two and a half years ago but it's likable just the same.
Cheers All !

It's a damp and dreary day in North NJ but my first Summerfest of the year will brighten it up a bit,
A bit heavy at 6.8% ABV, the mandarin orange taste is minimal. First time I’ve had this.

Travel day today. Cheers from Lowell, MA!
Held one of these back. For science! Bottled 6/26/17, Drink by 10/26/17. You can't tell me what to do, bottle of alcohol!
Chocolate is what stands out the most. Still some hop fruitiness. Alcohol seems to be more at the forefront. I've had far worse IPAs that were much fresher.
My assumption was that I was going to be buying more next month, but I don't see it on their release calendar. Bummer! Definitely one of my favorite Stone beers. So cheers to the last one!
Go With The Flow DDH IPA (6,5%) by Other Half. Fermented with Vermont yeast and hopped aggressively with Citra, Simcoe, Motueka and double dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe Lupulin powders.

Little bit of summer this afternoon to get my mind off this dreary weather. Cancelled Tee Time but nothing a little liquid snack won't fix!
It seems like this is the new big thing to make these super cloudy IPAs. I was looking into making a trip to the Spencer Brewery, as I love Belgian/Trappist beer and noticed that the Tree House Brewery was not far from it.
First of the year, no glass needed. Cheers!
The local grocery store used to carry Only Child products but I haven't seen it there in quite a while. I've never seen there product anywhere else, too bad cuz everything I tried was pretty good. Being the stout fan that I am, I thought this was the best of them all, pretty damn good beer!
Do they still make that?
As far as I know they haven't made Dark Penance since 2015.
Relaxing with a DB.
Cheers All !
This hazy IPA suited the weather we’ve been having in SD. However, today it’s freaking sunny. Anyways, have a great day. Cheers BA!
