    Took yesterday off, and spent most of The afternoon/evening at a country auction. The Mrs. got some vases, and I came down with a hankering for a beer...this beauty has breakfast written all over it:





    Cool and rainy forecast for today; I’m going to build a fire to take off some of chill...Cheers from Pond, and have a great day!

    Everyone has had their morning romp and breakfast so things are quieting down. Planning out my long day of leisure activities and starting with this . . .

    Light hazy yellow color with small white cap.

    Aroma of slightly ripe pineapple with a touch of other citrus.

    Flavor is surprisingly tart. Perhaps because I think of pineapple as a sweet flavor this took a period of adjustment but the result was worth the effort.

    I hope for you as it is very good indeed. If you dig these red fruits so berries and cherries specifically Its a wonderful brew no doubt.

    I am drinking Autumnal Dichotomus 2016 from Jester King, Texas, ABV 5.30%. It is brewed with Pumpkin, Wood Sorrel, Horehound, Fig Leaves, as well as hops, barley malt, etc. I let it age for a bit. The flavor is quite interesting and its good. There's pumpkin but not too much, it's tart orange and grapefruit, it's a bit smokey autumnal spices. It is very nice but quite foamy.

    I spent 15 minutes walking in the direction opposite The Bruery store in DC. Wanted to check it out. By the time I realized it, I needed to head to the airport. Mission: Failed.
