Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Not much going on, another normal Sunday with bottle returns, laundry, and a grocery run later on.

Juice is Loose. Fantastic NE DIPA! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, honey, lightly toasted bread/doughy malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; great bready/grainy wheat creaminess and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness, no hop astringency. Super drinkable, no warming 8%. Super juicy and lightly dank hops; with perfectly balanced malts. Never overly sweet/heavy feeling. Spot on NE style, but I still prefer Old Nation's stuff. Worth getting again for sure.

This was amazing! Solid had retention and minimal lacing on the glass. Flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, maple syrup, molasses, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, marshmallow, fudge, brownie batter, toasted oak, nuttiness, and dark bread; with light notes of coconut, raisin, plum, fig, smoke, leather, and tobacco. Similar aromas, but lacking intensity. Very mild roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvelty, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Slight chalky roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. No cloying sweetness. Mildly warming 10.7%, no barrel booze. Dangerously smooth sipper. Evil Twin continues to just nail everything they put in a barrel. Both of the BBA Biscottis are in my top 20. This has super rich malt complexities, with perfect barrel integration. Not overly roasty/charred on malts; with minimal tannic/boozy barrel notes. Price did not deter me at all, I'd do it again. I knew it would be worth it. 4.35

Great Gose! Glad this is back. Flavors of big juicy/lightly tart watermelon, jolly ranchers, lemon, lime, green apples, berries, and sea salt; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread malts; light lacto funk and yeast earthiness. Touch of herbal hops. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; light yeast spiciness, fruit tang, and herbal bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced grainy wheat creaminess and lactic acid in the mouthfeel; light salinity. Lightly increasing tart/tangy dryness, never puckering. Super flavorful and refreshing. Really great balance between the watermelon and fruity/lacto yeast. On the sweeter/less acidic side for the style; but still has adequate tartness. What I really love about this is the fact that the watermelon flavors don't have the usual cucumber vibe going on; but it does not feel that artificial either. Will be drinking more than a single pack this year again.

Always amazing! Aromas and flavors of bright grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, and pine hops; with some honey, bready, light caramel malt balance; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good amount of pine, citrus rind, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and fairly crisp finishing; balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Very dank, resinous, and drying; but never astringent. Super drinkable. Will always be a top favorite Ohio IPA.

Good morning/afternoon/evening BA. It's 3:45 PM, 70 and sunny in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Starting off today's brews with a local Vienna lager. Light, pleasant tasting and cheap - great combo for a May afternoon. Cheers and enjoy your Sunday!

Something simple this morning because my summer cold prevents me from enjoying something complex . . .

Taste brings a tart tautness that opens up mid palate to the grain, coriander, spice and orange. Hops remain muted throughout but orange makes a quick reappearance in the aftertaste where it lingers a bit.

It is going to be very hot and sunny today in northeastern Wisconsin, except at Lambeau Field, where it may snow today. We are headed towards the lake to cool off. For my holiday-weekend-Sunday breakfast of quality beer, Grape-Nuts, and pickled herring, I have selected this amazing IIPA from Toppling Goliath. I am glad that I picked up a bunch of these bombers. I may have another one later today.

Drinking leftovers today, no new beers for NBS. Breck IPA tastes a lot like Great Divide Titan in my opinion. Pretty solid.

Time for beer #2. Decent pilsner by any measure, but the 3.8% abv is what really sold me on this. Cheers!

Belfast Black from tap at McHughs in the oldest building in Belfast. It is a Traditional Irish Stout from Whitewater Brewing Northern Ireland (UK).

Like many stouts this is much better from tap compared to the bottle version. Also enjoyed with live Irish folk music at the moment. If I had not walked 14 miles earlier today, I (almost) could feel like dancing.

    Cheers!
