Happy Saturday ba. Grabbing a few at hoptron brewtique once again before a few errands. Starting with Day Drifter, oatmeal pale ale, from Sand City. Nicely hop forward with lots of citrus notes. Light and crisp but still full flavored at 5.2% abv.

 

Now some juice with lunch



New double NEIPA from Old Nation
Taking Boss Tweeds place until the Fall.
Has a thinner body than Tweed and a bit more sweeter juice after taste. Very good

Onto Dank Wood here ba. Very dry and earthy with the barrel adding a nice kick to it. Not overly in love with it but cool to try,

I was at Great Lakes earlier this morning, I thought the pics had gone through but apparently not, so here they are.

 

I somehow dragged myself out at 7 am to the Saturday morning bike ride. Got in 50 miles before it got obliteratingly hot and humid.

Cheese sandwich, Charles Towne Fermentory beer, and bike racing in the iPad. Pretty optimal Saturday.

Double graduation/birthday party for niece and nephew this afternoon. He's turning 18 and graduated high school, she's 13 and graduated grade school. I remember meeting them at Christmas when he was 5 and she wasn't even a year old. Shit, I feel old.
