Happy hump day ba. Just another go at bomb for me here. Probably gonna drink this a lot, at my leisure, as it’s price point/lost hype renders it a shelf turd.

This stout is outstanding. Even leaves me with some brain cells still in tact.

Thanks @JayWhitson . The stuff you sent I am at four of the first four, just outstanding. Not sure how the gose will go though my friend.

Thanks again. If you ever want to trade again, let me know. Count me in.

New Belgium Oscar Aged In Blackberry Whiskey Barrels, 8.8% ABV. Pours deep purple, with a two+ finger beige head. Nose is blackberry, taste follows, fairly tart, light bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall nearly outstanding.

I'll have to see how much real blackberry there is, but not itching yet. I love blackberries, but they don't love me.

Incredibly clean and so crisp for a big IPA. Classic west coast IPA that fades quickly off your palate and begs for another sip.

Bought a six pack. Between you and me, I would have been happier with an original Bud.

This is very good. Great head retention and lacing on the glass, crystal clarity. Aromas and flavors of cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and light honey/nutty malts; with some light herbal, grassy, light peppery hops. A touch of skunky aromas that went away as it sat in the glass. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malt and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5%. Never watery. Perfectly clean lager flavors, no fruitiness. Really enjoyed this. Very clean pils malt flavors, with light earthy hop balance. Really well made pale lager. Not a German pils as listed, so I'll put in the request. This was really fresh as well, so that was a plus. 3.78

This was amazing! Lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing the whole glass. Flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, hazelnut, chili pepper, caramel, toffee, vanilla, almonds, brown sugar, molasses, marshmallow, cream, fudge brownie, biscuit, and toasted dark bread; with light notes of smoke, char, raisin, plum, cherry, licorice, and herbal spice earthiness. Very mild herbal/roast/char bitterness and pepper spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Slight slickness, sticky spice, chalky roast, and increasing dryness. Minimal warming 11.5%, slightly increasing lingering pepper heat after the finish. Absolutely wonderful stuff as expected. Amazingly rich dessert stout malt complexity; with perfect integration of spices/flavoring. Nothing overwhelming. Dangerously drinkable for that ABV. Will definitely get some more soon. I should have reviewed this a while ago! 4.38

This year's Fort George 3-Way, done with Modern Times and Holy Mountain. Both @Lingenbrau (who sent me the can, thanks man!) and some BAs on the PNW threads warned that this might not be as good as last year's version, but I like it quite a lot. Maybe a couple of weeks did it good? Regardless, a clean, bracing hazy with enough bite to keep it interesting.
