Enjoy by 07.04.18, Unfiltered IPA from Stone, ABV 9.4%. A lot flavor, tropical, lots of pine resin, a unique and complex hop bite. It's great.

Off to a good start though . . .



Beautiful burnt umber burnished gold color with egg shell tone cap and lasting lacing.

Marvelous aroma of rich caramel malt raised to the highest bar. Other qualities emerge in the form of floral tones that are more like citrus blooms than garden flowers yet carry a round richness that is not at all sharp. Honeysuckle perhaps though not as sweet. If I walked into a bakery shop and was met with this aroma I would immediately buy whatever they were cooking.

 

I’ve been doing chores all morning here on the farm; first beer today is a lunch favorite of mine:



Mrs. Z got out of bed about a half an hour ago and advised she was too worn out from yesterday’s sightseeing/shopping to go out today; she has returned to bed...I’ll have to occupy myself with yard work (and beer) this wonderfully cool (72) cloudy day - Cheers y’all!

It's a good day to drink an I'mpeach IPA from Stone, ABV 8.80%. It's peachy, lot's of peach, but not too much, caramel, other fruits, like pineapple, citrus, and pine resin. It is mild for a DIPA but refreshing. As the can says, this Impeach will survive any proposed term limits.

Tree House Very Green DIPA, 6/8/18 canning...

Wow... Tropical and citrus notes on the nose preview a real killer beer - manages to be juicy at the same time its taut, lush but also green, plush but still bitter... Doesn't go full fruit smoothie on you, maintaining a tight grip the sugars... Tangy and zesty, with impressions of bright green limes, dry grapefruit pith, and succulent pineapple and orange...

Shoots right to the top of the list for me, BA, beating out all my previous faves...

Good afternoon, BA’s. It has been a minute since I posted. Hope everyone is well.

Interesting find here. White cedar and balsam fir in a farmhouse IPA. It’s not bad.

 

A very light drizzle has arrived this afternoon...more steady rain is needed to green up the dry grass, and bring out the flowers:



The hop profile is more earthy than citrus for my palate preference, but I can see this beer becoming a go to option while I’m in this neck of the woods...

 

At Bully's Pub in North Myrtle Beach SC having a Pixels IPA from Seminar Brewing in Florence SC. This is damn good!

Clocking in ~8% ABV, the Five Year Anniversary NEIPA from Funky Buddha is drinking quite nicely. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo hops along with the following (5...get it?) purees: Grapefruit, Orange, Tangerine, Lemon and Lime:
...damn refreshing on this sultry afternoon!
