Name says it all, very nice and a great price. A local freshly.
This is a morning juice post.
It's Lager time . . .
Attractive clear gold color with creamy white cap and lacing.
Pleasant grain scent with some light melon notes.
Flavor is straight forward AAL in it's approach. I don't know what makes up the grain recipe in this brew but it really reminds me of PBR in taste, feel and finish. Flavor leans toward the fuller bodied style and the beer is better for that, I also notice some richer malty elements as the beer warms up a bit.
Another mornin', another Hotbox
Playing shuffleboard with the kids and hanging with "Lulu" the stray cat. Enjoying a Griffinclaw Norm's Gateway IPA on a perfect Michigan morning.
couldn't get on board with this had the mouth feel of a fruit juice had the cherry taste but the smoke threw it off
this however right in my wheel house
for some reason the clear double ipas I tend to not enjoy
great ipa and I'm a sucker for the can art
running through a little back stock before getting into some new trade arrivals
Beautiful day to grill chicken legs and relax with DFH Liquid Truth Serum Ipa,nice blend of all the
Can dated 5/8/18. This one faded ultra fast. 60 day IPA's aren't ideal by any means, but this one tastes like drinking rainwater from a garbage can lid. Benefit of the doubt considered, I still gave it a generous 3.38 out of 5 due to the citra notes hanging out in the background behind all that garlic and onion mess.
Just finished up a run and sipping on this huge stout in the sun. Amazing stuff. Cheers!
I'm a sucker for can art too - that roller blabe looks really interesting.
Does that Swishr really taste like a cherry cigarillo? gross! lol
not really was like a lightly smoked cherry juice beer. smoked beers in general are very hit or miss for me the smoke was faint but overall just didn't come across right for me. I may be in the minority the rating of it was pretty high
Trying this for the first time
tastes a little like a hoppy grape koolaid. Quite a bit of sweet and hoppy going on. Not necessarily a bad thing. 3.63 out of 5.
Pabst, taking a quick break from mowing. Good lawn mower beer
Trappistes Rochefort 10.
Stuck in the house in the dreaded 4 hour window waiting for a washing machine delivery. Well it gives me an excuse to day drink on my day off, like I really needed one.
Good afternoon BA
A little Christmas in July...
@The-Adjunct-Hippie, sorry you had a bad experience on this one. I bought mine cold in Myrtle Beach on the 6th with a 6/13 can date. I was looking for fresh Maduro, but gave up after checking 6 different stores, so I bought this. It's been really good, not Zombie Dust, but better than any other citra APA that comes to mind. Cheers all!
Would you like some beer with your fruit? On the water in the "rich" section having lunch. Blue Moon.
Having a Warsteiner.
Still have to make up a top 10 of all time favorite and normally available beers, but this one would be high on my list.
Got this at Funky Buddha's 5 year anniversary party. They were selling these for $5.55 a bomber. Hard to believe they've only been around that long.
This one was okay. I could have used a bit more freshness. I've had better IPA's and their Hop Gun is quite a bit better, IMO.
I'm glad you got a good one. I'm just really surprised at how fast those CC beers fade. My other CC beers, Space Pope, Jai, and Invasion have been killer up to this point (6/18, 6/1, and 5/13 respectively) crossing my fingers. *chugs jai hurriedly*
We had dinner tonight at Golan Brewing Company's Brew House in Katzrin. The "Amber Ale" is hard to describe; it's tastes include apple and raisin but it's light like a lager. There's no hop bitterness.
The Wheat Beer was excellent.
I've found that even their stouts age poorly. Anything I buy from Cigar City I drink immediately.
England - Croatia starts and I’m about to enjoy St Bernardus while smoking a fag errr i mean a Dunhill...

New Holland - Passion Blaster (can).. cheers!
Speaking of which...
@jkblr I'm breaking out the Jai Alai!
Chug! Chug! Chug!
Beer is making gardening easier. Cooler temps and a nice breeze too.
Have a good one!
Burger is being made while I enjoy some Wish Fulfillment at Tired Hands, cheers!
That burger and pint went down way to fast, time for Rustic Pentagram while I finish my fries, cheer!
I just cracked my first Focal Banger in over a year. It is as good as I remembered. Glad I grabbed a case
They better get that friggin washing machine here soon. Cheers!
