The cooler temp (78) this evening has emboldened me to pop open a new to me beer I’ve wanted to try for some time - “Wulver”:

Wow! This is a darn good beer!! A little sweeter than Backwoods Bastard and peatier than CW’s Scotch Ale, this beer is great! So happy to find a 4pk at the local TW yesterday. Looking forward to future side by sides:stuck_out_tongue:

Probably my night cap; my gear (including coolers of beer) is organized and ready to stow, or already packed in the RV. Mrs. Z ... nothing ready to go ... piles and piles of clothes, bags of loot, shoes, etc. etc. etc. Typical...

Thankfully there is no rush tomorrow...although I’m sure to not make Florida given our family agenda tomorrow...if I survive this wee heavy tonight, maybe I’ll stay up and have another beer. Cheers!

Great stout for an evening sipper, and ... another thought... we go about our business, but take time to photo what we are drinking... And check out what everyone else is... And we don't really know anything about each other... who's idea was this? Fucking genius!.

I don't know what this means.
They marketed a Wisconsin brewed beer to Minnesota football fans?
    And
They sold a special glass with which to so promote the said beer?
    And
I might have not only known this, but looked for said one-off glass sold to sell a one-off beer in another state?

Sounds cool, but I am lost. Love the man on the moon, though. Jager, not so much.
    Cheers.
    Yay Manitowoc!:stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus bodied; creamy/bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins and lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Super drinkable, never aggressive, 7%. Awesomely juicy, vibrant, and dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. Denali, Citra, and Mosaic hops. Fresh batch just hit last week, I might have to get another pack.

Awesome DIPA. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel; light resins/rinds. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Dangerously smooth, not overly aggressive, lightly increasing warmth of 10%. Great Citra/Wakatu hop showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy balanced hops complexity; nice bready malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Really well done for the big ABV.

I'm homeless, but if I was homeless in Portland I would be sleeping right in that person's purple fold out chair without their permission and I would let my muddy mutt lie on their blanket. The cart would be parked directly to my left with Ray-Ray's rotting corpse stinking up the joint.

This two-day-old IPA needs to mellow a bit. The yeast burn is quite strong.

Everyone at this event is homeless. It's only this crowded because of the free grilled cheese sandwiches and piña colada samples. You'd fit right in. It comes with a free contact high too.
