    Because of Abraham Lincoln, obviously.

I didn't think this would be a history lesson when I first got involved.

Fill-packed my fat fucking gut = no more room for beer, so after I finish this Galactic Fog DIPA I'm switching to some calorie-burning Mezcal Joven...

    Peace out, BA...

Work done for another day. Beer is needed. Oh, and my TV seems to be crapping out. Not going to replace it anytime soon.

Stagecoach Smoked Porter fits the bill very well.

Gee...guess the stout? Hint: it’s fucking delicious no matter if it’s 4 years old or fresh as shit. This is ridiculously smooth and delicious. Still have one left.

More beer. This is good stuff. Rich with grapefruit and orange flavors that are piney.

I tried 2 of these when I bought the 4 pack back in 2013 (I believe) and hated them both. So I left the others to rot in the cellar. It is beyond shockingly hoppy yet. Overall it has turned into a decent American Barleywine like beer. The aftertaste is very aspirin like though and ruins any good qualities

I worked in Manhattan for almost 20 years and last year I noticed this woman that used to sit outside Penn Station in Midtown in a folding chair. I hope to God that I never become homeless because, seriously, you never know. But, there was a part of me that looked at this barefoot, chubby, middle aged woman and said, shit, this person doesn’t have shit to do, no one to answer to, no bills to pay, no responsibility, will eat (and probably drink) tonight. Again, I hope to God I’m never homeless, but damn.

    Round #2
First time having this in any vintage. Too many good new beers to wait for NBS (& I have to work anyway).

I jumped in with a $15 / 6 pack & I'm glad. Pretty good stuff. I have to replace the volume of FIS I normally drink with something. Cheers all!

No man has ever walked on the moon.

That was a hoax to make the Russians think we won.

Don't tell the Russians I said this, they still think it's true.

Super new Stillwater IPA. Very nice as expected. Flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; bready/grainy wheat/oat and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins/rinds near the end of the glass. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very drinkable, not overly aggressive, 6.5%. Nice soft feel. This tastes like 100% Simcoe hops. Well done NEIPA. Juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy balanced hop complexity; nice spelt/oat/pale malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Rarely been disappointed by their IPAs lately.

Still tasting amazing! Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, black cherries, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, almond, and dark bread; with light touches of smoke, char, raisins/dark fruit, and herbal hops. Light roast/char bitterness, bourbon/oak spiciness, and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and full bodied; with an amazing creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Light hops stickiness, chalky roast, oak tannins, and cherry tang/acidity. Slightly increasing bitter/roasted and tangy/tannic fruit dryness. No acrid roast, hop/fruit astringency, or cloying. Absolutely perfectly balanced between porter, cherries, and barrels. Super smooth, mildly increasing warmth of 11.3%, zero barrel booze. Still have 2 more in the cellar, and some might still be on the shelf too I believe. I love the base beer, but this blew it out of the water, even when it was fresh.

They also have enough free time to attend any protest rally that they see fit.

Haha, this lady doth protest too little. She always had a stupid smile on her face. Forgot to add, shoeless on purpose, her shoes were always on the floor next to her.
