    Rivertowne Brewing with an e. I forgot that in my first post. I took a few sips before snapping the shot, the beer did have a nice head.
    Rivertowne Brewing Maxwell's Scottish Ale. Good stuff, just like the hockey.

    Gotta admit - kinda in a funk today. Plans got squashed, weather is crappy - rainy cool and waaay too muggy. Did my 400th beer review - and it shoulda been something special, but it was mediocre. Tried to nap, but just tossed and turned for an hour or so... had a cruddy cup of coffee, moped around a bit...

    Then I opened my fridge and took a look at two of my all-time favorite beers:

    A bourbon-barrel-aged tripel and a bourbon-barrel-aged Imperial stout...

    (*scolds self*): It is disrespectful to beer to be glum with these two gems on-hand!

    I popped the cork and cage off the Curieux - and boy, you wanna talk about an attitude adjustment! :wink:


    Boston back in 1987 remains one of the best shows I've seen - they played almost all three of their albums in their entirety, studio-sharp, with the entire crowd on their feet the whole time - and word-for-word with the band...

    Rock n' roll! :grinning: lol

    Everyone on here said that the last canning of this was in February, yet my can says Mid-March. Might not be super fresh but it's amazing in my book.
