Cellador's Berlinerish Blueberry, 4.5% Berliner Weisse.

Picked this up in the beginning part of the year when Cellador had a drop in SF. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, given that their Untappd ratings are generally on the higher end, and this one scored just under a 4.

Maybe the other Berlinerish beers are better, but this one's low ABV, got a decent amount of tart with blueberry and a touch of honey sweetness to round out the fruit quality. I do prefer my sours with a little more subtlety, but in the world of blueberry beers - this is probably the best I've tried. Pleasantly surprised.

Lazy Sunday afternoon

Tropical fruitiness and a smooth finish with a touch of honey. Nicely balanced.

 

I remember that you explained how much food you guys cooked last year for that fund raiser. That’s a lot of hard work for a good cause. Cheers

Ive always wanted to try this and I found some that are kinda on the oldish side-June 19-but this is packed with lemon and just really smooth. Just a clean finish. Man, what a beach day. I’m cooked right now, feels great knowing this is just the beginning.
