Started with a 3/4 Maß of Shiner Oktoberfest. Not the best by any stretch, but not exactly the worst either. Prost!

Delicious IPA. Fantastic head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy wheat, and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins/rinds after the finish. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth and pretty soft feeling, minimal warming 6.3%. Centennial, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Very juicy and fairy dank/earthy hop complexity with fruity yeast; nice bready malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Kind of NEIPA-like with the soft/creamy feel. It uses 4 different yeast strains. 3.91

Excellent Berliner! Great head retention/spotty lacing for a sour. Aromas and flavors of big tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; light lacto funk and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, and mild herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, moderately crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malt and some lactic acid in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/carbonated dryness, no puckering sourness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4%. Not watery at all. Awesome balance of fruity Lacto and ale yeast complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. Absolutely spot on style. Glad I got the pack as expected. 4.05

[IMG] So this isn’t bad, but not at the horrific $15.99 price.

Dude I am impressed. Almost sixty. And still working. Got my respect. I know it is not worth a damn. But seriously, was down that road a few years ago. Ended on wrong side.

My first ever Hoof Hearted which I somehow purchased right in my neck of the woods and it’s a keeper. Nice clean, creamy, lemon taste. I could drink the shit out of this but considering I only got one I’ll TRY to savor it.

Ringing in at 8.9%, Nauset is a little too boozy for an IPA for me. Overall not bad though.

Three miles is the usual distance I run when I’m motivated! Certainly nothing to sneeze at! Good job and keep it up.
