a brew you have anticipated and had high hopes for that turns out to be a dud is real bummer.

 

Getting ready to run for my life (go inside) as a storm rolls in while I drink this great beer.

Stopped by the virtual bar for a quick one. I’ve got too much going on with my new job to stay long.

 

I've been on an Oktoberfest binge lately. This is another good one.

Here are two local boys that did memorable tunes. Rig (Rick) and I grew up together and he was a born entertainer.

 

This manages to be a pretty good dessert beer without being disgustingly sweetscreencapture

Imagining cooler temperatures and, as the glass puts it, that harvest time of year. A 97 degree heat index is just so unwelcoming for my adult soccer fall season. So until then I’ll drink all of the Oktoberfest beers I can like a kid waiting for Santa. Today’s choice, Spaten. Cheers y’all!

Interested in hearing what you don't like about it, I thought it was good representation of a WCIPA, haven't seen one that clear in a while.

 

$20 is a killer price, a store close to me wanted $40. I skipped it.

 

Haha we’re on the same team! We finally have our fridge beer stash down to just the majority of the top shelves. She was so excited to see how much it had dwindled so I gave her an evil grin and said I had more on the way. Then I immediately told her it was a joke.

...wish I had more on the way. Gonna wait till after the holiday to purchase anything else...or else. Unless the weekend lends itself to a quick trip to see family in Richmond, then all fridge bets might have to wait a few weeks.

 

The closer, which is actually my third - but the first I could post since having completed "work". It's 2017 that has been "aging" at 34 degrees since I bought it last year. It still shoots and scores.
