    Ok, little vacation, first stop is in western MD. Enjoyed an Aslin berry Berliner before heading out for dinner, where I am going to put down the restaurant’s pale ale. It’s very malty, caramel with a hint of spicy hops in back, it’s almost like an Oktoberfest; wonder if they crossed lines.

    Also saw the bottom pic at the store. I’m guessing there’s been threads about it, but I wasn’t aware it existed.

    Also, even the satellite channels all turned to country and bluegrass going through WV, one of the songs heard:

    COOP Ale Works F5 IPA is a pretty solid citrus to pine IPA that has heavy lacing and a creamy mouthfeel. Not your typical IPA:

    Really good. It’s one of their better beers, I think. Nice balance of bready, lightly toasted malts and floral hops with just a bit of bitterness.

    Best solution to a crazy day at work? A 17.2% Big Ass stout! Brewed with pizza and dollar bills. Amazing beer. I miss having constant access to Lervig stouts in Germany. Glad I can get one of their collaborations. Cheers all.
