My go-to Oatmeal stout. Flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toasted oats, dark bread, and nutty malts; with light licorice, dark fruit, molasses, smoke, and herbal/peppery noble hops. Light-moderate herbal/spicy hop and roast malt bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; great creamy/silky/bready oats and lightly sticky/chalky roasted mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter/roasted dryness; never acrid. Super smooth drinking. This is always awesome. I still haven't updated my review for this, it needs to be done eventually. I have been slowly doing them for a lot of others this year so far.

Excellent wheat IPA. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy wheat and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds, increasing bitter dryness, minimal lingering hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5%. Not watery at all. Labeled as Citra/Amarillo, but it's mostly Amarillo; really spot on profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Great summer IPA all around. Arbor has definitely been improving in recent years. They just rebranded and went all cans this year. I liked this just as much as the Spring one with Chinook, Azacca, Galaxy, and Vic Secret. Looking forward to the Autumn one soon.

Another new supergroup project. Dan Briggs from BTBAM, Richard Henshall from Haken, Matt Lynch from Cynic, and Peter Jones (ex-Haken). All Prog Rock instrumental.

Loving this El Dorado version of HS...has some of that perfumy dry spiciness that the OG version had. Almost a 4.5

RIP Mac Miller. Dead at 26 from an overdose. Still in complete shock

Yep, I tier up every time I see that. I believe the scene right before when the table is full of everyone from the family to the rangers drinking coffee and eating donuts was done all in one shot. Ford wanted a chaotic scene and got it. God I love that movie. I could write a book...

Chicken pad thai and a hoppy pale ale. One of my favorite combos. The beer is Icarus Go Flight, canned 08/14. Hitting the spot.

I don't often like the "what is your favorite" question but every time I watch this I know it is my favorite.
Out of context the scene doesn't make much sense but it tells Ethan's back story and without any words. Plus, there are bacon and donuts.

Oh yeah, its like The Godfather or To Kill A Mockingbird. It doesn't matter how many times you see it, the movie just overwhelms you every time. I can go on a rant, but it is such an influential movie, from George Lucas, Spielburg, Scorsese, and Tarantino. I tell that to people, and they just laugh. From the way the music is used, cinematography, close ups, being the anti hero, on and on. I mean the entire Tatooine scenes are almost a direct copy of The Searchers. But I am on the verge of digressing even more

Double dank juice by odd side ales. 9.9% abv and tastes smoother than that. Flavor is pretty much what the name implies.

Aye! So should I have a Ten Fidy next? I have a cold one in a fridge within arms reach of my computer

In all seriousness, good to see some Missouri breweries getting rep'd on here. I nearly saved it for NBS tomorrow, but have a few other things I'd like to visit for that occasion. Besides, barleywines are like a little pad of cash burning a hole in my wallet - I just can't let them sit around too long.
