    Enjoying a beer and one of my favorite movies.

    Cherry Street Brewing & Atlanta Brewing
    Pitchin’ Tents — S’mores Milkshake IPA

    Brewed with graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow creme, chocolate powder, lactose, strawberry purée, pineapple juice and vanilla.

    Crazy flavors in this one. Huge strawberry and pineapple upfront, chewy mouthfeel, as it warms the chocolate and graham crackers show their head.

    Being in the funeral business and noticing how Hollywood portrays the idiosyncrasies of mortuaries in these films is hilarious.

    A very uneventful day that so far consists of a four mile run and too much TV afterwards. A beer before getting off my duff to mow the postage stamp front lawn. My final can of this excellent IPA and a good excuse to play The Doors.

    Besides going next door to the brewery for a taste after my Friday and Saturday shifts at work, this is my first can of Focal Banger in quite some time. Such a great IPA. Great nose, great flavor, great bitter finish, and great feel with perfect carb.

    Treated my wife to lunch at Cerberus in Colorado Springs. She didn't have a beer but enjoyed her burger. Me, I had to go back to the lamb sliders and tried their Hathor California common.



    The beer was decent, fairly bitter but with a relatively light malt presence. The Colorado lamb sliders were fantastic...
