Kicking the weekend off with this 2017 Southern Tier Rum Barrel Aged PumKing. This is pretty nice. There’s initially equal parts pumpkin pie spice and light rum, but the rum takes the lead (without overwhelming).

Bolero Snort's Fruity Pebbulls IPA...

Whatta great beer! Features lime zest and lactose, but in a smooth, more sweet and soft than zesty or sharp kinda way - drinks incredibly easy... Very impressed...

This beer is Accidentaly Hazy from Lost Souls Brewing in Mt Airey NC. It's amazing, amazingly horrible, it might actually be the worst serious beer I've ever had. This beer smells like a bad case of BO, and tastes like they used yeast scraped off some salty guys balls. Impossible to make this beer , sample it, and say yep good to serve to the public. No it's not, it should be illegeal. The yuck factor is off the charts.

Finally decided to open up a bottle of Fulton Worthy Adversary from 2015 that @garymuchow sent me in an early round of the NBS BIF, this has aged very well, dark fruits and chocolate, tons of flavor, cheers!

It's hard to beat Backcountry for the taps. There is a very good place in Layfayette called Romaro's K9 Club--it's combo beer bar dog park. They always have great stuff on tap and in bottles and you can bring the pooches and let them run around the fenced in dog park just outside the bar area.

 

I had to look up what jawn was. Thanks to urban dictionary, myself and many others will be this much smarter after today:
a word used by Philly cats to describe anything and everything.
NY cats interject with the word "joint" but it doesn't convey the same feelings.

I am told Monday at the latest. But maybe even tomorrow. All is cool my friend. Loss of power is an inconvenience for most folks (there are some that it is literally life and death). A bit of a pain in the ass for me but not a big deal. Had a lot of points to stay for free at a local hotel. Bar and restaurant next door. Turned out to be fun.

Taste is grapefruit, pine

Hop nibble, lingers on the back of the tongue
