Omnipollo Zodiak Multiverse NEDIPA. This is fantastic. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. No hop astringency. Amazingly smooth/soft finish, minimal warming 8%. Assuming this is just imperial Zodiak. Simcoe, Citra, Centennial hops. Insanely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Stellar stuff for the style. Should revisit the base beer again.

This is awesome as usual. Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, nuttiness, wood smoke, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, dark bread, rum, and toasted oak; with lighter notes of charcoal, vanilla, raisin, fig, leather, tobacco, and herbal hops. Light herbal/roast/char bitterness and rum/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a very creamy, silky; and lightly slick, sticky, chalky, tannic mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering roast/char bitter and tannic oak dryness. Mildly warming 11%, no barrel booze. Really impressive balance/complexity of smoked stout and rum barrels. Outstanding barrel integration, no booze at all. Not the best Clown Shoes stout I've had, but still delicious. This is my 3rd for the year, and it is still available in some stores. They always make great imperial stouts.

Amazing NEDIPA as usual. Glad we finally got more in distro. Aromas and flavors of huge passion fruit, papaya, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body. Bready/grainy wheat/oat creaminess and some hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, never astringent. Dangerously drinkable for the ABV. Minimal warmth of 9%. Super juicy hops with some dankness; balanced malts, not overly sweet/heavy feeling for the ABV. Love all Ellison IPAs, but this is my favorite. Hope they make it more often moving forward.

Tasting insane as usual, new batch landed a couple weeks ago. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, pecan, fudge, marshmallow, biscuit, toasted dark bread, caramel, toffee, molasses, vanilla, cream, and light smoke/charcoal. Light roast/char and herbal hop bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Light slickness, chalky roast, and sticky hops. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness; never acrid/astringent. Super smooth, minimal warming 11%. Glad these are in cans now, this meets and even surpasses what I remember when I reviewed it in 2016. Pretty much identical to the one brewed in Europe at the time, but this one is a bit less bitter on the roast. Phenomenal. Already got 2 packs, completely worth the $20 price. Would buy more.

An odd time of day for this beer, but at least I know it's officially fall now. Autumn edition of Cumbre's Project Dank. Lovely, lives up to its name, a little more tropical, smooth shit right here. Seek it out... cheers!

Malpais Stout from La Cumbre is a perfect fit for today's weather.
Still snowing and 21º in the Wyoming Black Hills.
