Goodnight juice for me. A nap before work. I keep repeating myself here but this might be the best Other Half out of the bunch I got. A melon/honeydew presence that is awesome. Really soft, pillow feel. Citric, dank finish. Gat dayum. Seriously.

Stout Season equals Chili Season!

Not my favorite of the broken down bomb, but vanilla is subtle and not overpowering which is good for my taste buds

My last beer was a porter. Got me to thinking (I know it hurts) that I want the world's best brown ale. And that is what I did.

Sorry, not a Bruce tune. Disappointed?

Today I hopped on crutches to Trillium. I was exhausted. But the end result was good.

New batch of Heavy Mettle is a winner. Winner winner chicken dinner.



Now trying Bumpkin Island. A lot of mosaic. It’s alright but playing a clear second fiddle.



I think Teddy KGB would be a Heavy Mettle drinker. So long as some Oreos were on the side.

 

Well I’ll be damned. Went to Tustin Brew Co again because it’s 5 minutes from my house, but more so because I was impressed with the stout that I had last time. This right here is their Old Town IPA, and what do you know? Taste a lot like Union Jack. Very good!:

 

Turning Point Brewing A Nu Start hazy IPA - love this stuff!

 

Southern Hemisphere Flow Switch. Juicy and a hint of blueberry, not sure what Hop gives that flavor, but I am digging it.

I scoffed at the price of this beer when I saw it. After having it, I realize now that they didn't charge enough.
Gun Hill/Tried & True.

Gorgeous honey colored body with aminimal head that vanishes quickly, leaving a pencil thin ring.
Bready and toasty aroma with a honey sweetness. Floral and medicinal hops.
The taste follows the nose, only more complex. Toasted malts, honey, a bite of red apple, a floral, spicey and medicinal hops profile that comes off very tea like.
The mouth feel is where this beer shines. Super smooth, soft body that finishes dry with a nip of spice. Medium body, medium carbonation.

If you are a beach person it’s wonderful, there are a bunch of other non beach things to do but it is like Florida on crack as far as heat and humidity

Summit Dark Infusion, an excellent thick coffee milk stout. This is one of my remaining 2016 stock, which I bought up when I realized it was a one-off. They just released it again, so finishing my 2016's so I can stock up again.
