Eviltwin can be a hit or miss for ne but this one worked really well. Balance is often over used but this one was very well balanced. Could pick up so many different flavors without any particular one drowning out the ofhers

 

Battle of the Midwest APA citra hop titans. I think I'll finish both.

 

A NEDIPA 8.7% ABV. Excellent.

 

Lickinghole Creek Carrot Cake (imperial red ale brewed with carrot and spices)... this is very "pumpkin ale"-esque... different, and a little boozy (9abv)

 

Digesting some fig spread and prosciutto cracker snacks...

Beautiful, clear amber body. One finger white head that dies down to a wispy cap and faint ring. The aroma is lightly toasty malts, doughy and with some caramel sweetness, crisp red apple and a mineral presence.
The taste follows the nose but more delicate and complex. The doughy and toasted malts mingle with caramel and apple with a mineral and slight medicinal top finish.
Light mouth feel, a touch grainy with a crisp finish. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Actually these are 2017... Last black Friday I spent the day getting as much bottles as possible and this is the first one I cracked opened since.. The regular is still my fav though
