What beer are you drinking now? #2198

Haven’t been partaking in the virtual bar much recently. Been on the road watching my son’s first 3 college swim meets this past week. Think I have logged 400 miles or so. He had 2 second place finishes and his 3x100 breast relay of all freshman won last night.
Anyway, the Oktoberfest supply is starting to dwindle in the beer fridge. Last of what was probably my favorite American made one this year. Well, unless I start drinking the ones I saved for @SomethingClever

Happy Saturday ba. God damn nor’easter here aka it’s fucking raining a lot. Hitting up Westhampton Beach brewing before a grocery run.

Hurricane ipa, simcoe/Amarillo, decent enough drinking,

Now Irish Eyes, a sweet milk stout, at 8.8% abv. Easy drinking with tasty chocolate malt and tones of cocoa and vanilla. Pretty nice stuff,

Beermoth Cafe if you’re still around, is well worth a visit. They get some great stuff in. Had a load of Prairie and Warpigs stouts on the last time I was there. Have never seen those anywhere else.

 

Thanks for mentioning that one! Going their the coming days. Still around here for a couple of days.
I've been to their shop before but not yet to their cafe. Warpigs would be awesome, but that would be very lucky.

Very cool shadow work. Back in the day when I had free time and used to play with my 35mm I always tried to find naturally occurring shadows to get black and white pics. I have an album somewhere I will try to find some

 

Never seen them anywhere else in the UK now I come to think of it. Only way to get the bottles is join the $$$$$ monthly club.

 

I like. It has a strong mango nose. Mango, dried apricots taste. However, there is a slight artificial flavor in the aftertaste. Still, it tastes like mango and I’m getting a second!
