Outstanding sour. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy cherries, limes, lemon, orange, fruit skin/pits, citrus peel/zest, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, graham cracker, white bread malts; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy fruit dryness, no pucker. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.8%. Not overly lactic. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy cherries, vibrant limes, Lacto, and wheat/oat/malts against acidity. They have been nailing all the sours I've had.

My main go-to fruit beer. Flavors of big juicy sweet/tart raspberries and fruit skin/seeds; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuity malt balance; and some light herbal, grassy, spicy hop earthiness. Fair amount of fruit tang/tartness and light herbal/grassy/spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Balanced bready/grainy wheat creaminess and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Fairly crisp with light-moderate acidic/tangy/bitter dryness. No pucker/astringency. Always amazing, so refreshing. Glad this is year round, and in cans now. Will always keep it around.

I am so damn happy they brewed this beer again.

It had a substantial impact on me when they first released it in bombers.

My only complaint is the original artwork was WAY better!

    Cheers!

Amazing PB porter as always. Aromas and flavors of huge peanut butter, milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, caramel, toffee, vanilla, cream, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of smoke, dark fruit, and herbal hops. Light herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/bready and fairly silky malt mouthfeel; light sticky hops and chalky roast. Lightly increasing lingering hop/roast bitter dryness. No acrid/astringent flavors. Very rich for 6.2%. Tons of PB and coffee flavor, with great balance of the base porter. Spot on style. Been buying this a lot since we finally got Hoppin Frog in the state. Pretty much my favorite PB Porter. An old hometown favorite brewery for sure. Will keep buying more forever.

Tasting fantastic this year as usual! Flavors of big pumpkin, seeds, gingerbread, nutmeg, brown sugar, cinnamon, toasted pie crust, caramel, cocoa, and light coffee. Balanced roasted bitterness and spiciness on the finish against sweetness. Medium-full bodied creaminess; with light chalky roast and spice stickiness. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy/roasted dryness. No acrid/astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 8.6%. While I do agree this is not really much of a stout on the roast spectrum; you still do get a nice amount of roasted qualities, with the classic Pumking flavors in the forefront. Definitely better than the original 8.6% batch, but not quite as good as the 10% ones. I love it anyways.
