    This has a great mouthfeel and nice, juicy tropical/citrus notes, but really suffers from not hiding its ABV well at all, resulting in a somewhat unpleasant boozy sting in the aroma and aftertaste.

    Last day off till Sunday and didn't get out of the house yesterday so needed to fix that today. Only spending money on essentials today like breakfast pierogi and beer. Just got back from seeing Green Book time to drink and not drive anywhere else. Proud of myself for not stopping at kfc on way home. Of course this is the only song I'll be listening to the rest of the day. I'll be honest this beer ain't great.

    Trying to enjoy an Ommegang Rare Vos, which is a very good and unique beer I've been drinking on and off for years. But on a sad note, today had to say goodbye to my beautiful best friend ever of 14 years. My little Yorkie Faith. She was the best. All she ever did was love everyone. Hardest thing I ever had to do.

    Had to give it a try. A bit thin but has nice barrel presence. Might pick up a few more and let sit for a while to mellow out a bit.

    I've had this at 3, 5, 8 and 12 weeks now and it's been an interesting journey. The strong hop burn in the aftertaste has almost enirely faded away and the dank and piney notes are also significantly reduced, resulting in a poorer balance, with the sweetness from the tropical notes standing out a little too much.

    This has also developed a certain "overripe" flavor profile and a hint of cat piss. Booze also seems to stand out a little more, although I may be imaging this. Still perfectly enjoyable, even though I probably enjoyed it best at 5 weeks old. Also, the difference between 8 and 12 weeks seems rather negligible.

    Wow I hate to hear that, we came close to losing our dog of 13 years but the vet tried a different medicine that worked. I was a mess when I thought I was going to lose him. Sorry for your loss.
