I’m gonna start this by cheating, but I hope you forgive me. I posted this on the correct thread, but so many people here on WBAYDN were part of this post, so I figured I’d double tap this...

Other Half and Grimm on the left are four-packs, rest are singles. Thank you so much to @CanConPhilly , @larryi86 , @thebeers , @The_Kriek_Freak , @EMH73 and @TheGent for not only bringing me stuff, but for also taking the time to actually meet this dumbass Swede. Special thanks to @Highbrow for being crazy generous in getting me some Cellarmaker, one with matching cup. I also want to thank the Academy and my agent! Cheers, BA!

It was great having some beers with you. Enjoy! :beers:

Lighter shade of orange gold with large white cap.

Fairly strong aroma of herbal, resinous hops, citrus and bready malt.

More malt in the initial taste than I was expecting followed quickly by hops. Hop flavors closely match the scent. Hops build as the glass empties but they increase in firmness rather than bitterness. Clean, fairly complex that finishes with a lingering hop aftertaste.

Wife is off to the post office; I’m having a lunch beer..Almost 3 months old (9/14/18), it’s been in my fridge about a month, time to drink - Lagunitas’ “Super Cluster”:

Strong citrus nose - lemon, grapefruit, orange. Bitter lemon/grapefruit taste with plenty of semi sweet caramel malt base to balance the bitterness. Long bitter citrus hop linger. First time trying, and I like, although I wonder what it was like newer. In any event, Lagunitas holds up better on the shelf than many, and this can is just another example, to me, for that axiom. Cheers!

    A fine coffee-toned Wisconsin beer...

Golden colored with a thin head, yet the aroma delivers some fine grain char and dark roasted coffee bean notes. The taste follows along the lines of the aroma, perhaps with a bit of pear-like esters in the mix. The body is medium, slick, with a nice tickle of carbonation along the palate.

Office xmas party at Rochester Mills.

Pleszures pale. Nice stuff. Flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; moderate caramel, toasted biscuit, nutty malts; herbal, floral, grassy hop eartiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, woody, grassy, pepper bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, balanced creamy/bready malt and sticky/resin/rind hops in the mouthfeel. Fairly resin drying, no hop astringent. Smooth, 6.2%. Tastes like all Chinook hops. A bit more malty than expected, but enjoyable.

    A passable single-hop IPA...

The beer has a great look and excellent bitterness, but it comes across with more of a caramel malt sweetness and doesn't have much in the way of any distinctive hop aroma or flavor. The canning date appears to be 5/20/18 and the brewery's web site hasn't listed the brewing (i.e., hop) details on this version yet.

Lacking in motivation today. I guess I'll do some dirty work emptying another old bottle from 09/15/16? The drink by date is 09/15/18. It tastes more like SMS with a little earthy pepper heat in the finish. Not bad for an old beer.
