Hope everyone has a good holiday. Still recovering a bit from yesterday's family dinner, with prime rib to throw in the oven later on for today. Got a couple more things to wrap up before the afternoon.

This is amazing. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, marshmallow, nuttiness, vanilla, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, raisin, fig, cherry, berry, date, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, and pepper. Touch of booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Light hop/roast/char bitterness and oak spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and very full bodied; with a very creamy, silky, rich, and velvety mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight slickness, sticky hops, chalky, roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. No cloying/acrid flavors. Dangerously smooth, mildly increasing warmth of 17%, minimal booze. Absolutely stellar stuff. Quite a bit better than the base beer IMO. Super rich malts with balanced vanilla/oak presence; and not as intensely dark fruity. Much silkier body from the oak aging. I still have quite a few left. Would get more if still available.

Amazing as usual this year. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, and dank hop profile; refreshingly drinkable for an IPA even at 7.7%. Mosaic and Equinox hops are my favorite of all time. They have been changing around the hops every year; but as long as those two stay, I don't care much. Got 3 packs as I usually do.

This was amazing! Great head retention/lacing for the ABV. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, orange juice/peel/zest, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, fudge, marshmallow, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of coconut, licorice, molasses, raisin, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal/peppery hops, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/roast/char, citrus peel/zesty bitterness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairy full body; very creamy/silky/bready malts; light sticky hops, chalky char/roast, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char/citrus bitterness, and bourbon/oak spiciness. Dangerously smooth sipping, mildly increasing warmth of 12%, minimal barrel booze. Perfectly balanced rich malts, citrus vibrancy, chocolate, and bourbon barrel presence/integration. Not overly boozy, tannic, drying on barrels. One of my all time favorite BBA stout series, never been disappointed. Very well priced.

Merry christmas/happy holidays. After the dog decided to give me an extra long walk as a Christmas gift finishing the other half from last night. Oude kriek cuvee rene, very,very tart so its waking me up. Have no where to go but stay home and relax which is excellent so starting early
