Amazing APA. Less than a month old pack picked up this week. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very refreshing for a pale ale, not overly aggressive. Amazingly juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced Citra hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness from lingering bitter dryness. Revisited the review recently. One of the best in the style I've had, even though my rating dropped by a large margin.

I was hoping you would hate that one.

I found it in the parking lot of the DMV.

So this is another 4 Hands Chocolate Milk variant. I was afraid they might be too aggressive with the cherries. Alas, you can barely smell or taste them at all. The mouth is also a touch watery. A rare misstep for a great brewery.

Hey, BAs! I'm back with this two-time winner of the National IPA Championships, Head Hunter. I just stood in line for five hours, only to find out that it was bottled on 12/4. The nerve of these f*ckin' people, eh? Haha. Let's get LARRRGE!!!

Boulevard Plaid Habit, 13.9% ABV. Pours dark brown, with a slight beige head. Nose is malty, bourbon, and caramel/toffee. Taste is a bit of sweet caramel, oak, bourbon, belt (not shoe) leather, and a slight to moderate bitter close. Dry mouthfeel is decent, overall excellent to near outstanding.

Red Drink IPA at Rushing Duck. It opens with a lot of caramel malt but closes with a bitter dose of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Centennial hops. Tasty!

Your dad sent me a really aggressive beermail late last night about how un-American Bruce Springsteen is and how my idea of sustainable economics was horseshit.

He must have confused me with someone else because I agreed with everything that he said but was too intimidated to message him back.

    That guy really likes Elvis.

Bell's Two Hearted Ale pounder Can. Currently watching WVA vs 'Cuse on the telly, close game at the half. Impatiently pregaming Iowa State vs WA State. A couple of tunes @Victory_Sabre1973 might appreciate in the VB. Catch me if you Can, BA!

He sure does. You'd think he'd find something else to listen to.

Zero growth economics and Bruce Springsteen. Two things that really make him loose his cool. Sorry you had to experience that.
