Today is another holiday with limited bus service and odd store/pub hours, if open...I may venture out regardless. Cheers!

 

Killer brew made for modern times newest location.

 

I've had Nick Cave's song in my head all night, seriously. I don't know why...
So, because I'm a lover of bad puns and word-play, partnering Cumbre's Ryeot IPA with this... "Red Rye Hand" (heh). Cheers. Maybe I'll take a day off tomorrow from beer, but don't count on it.

I never thought I would say this, but it's too cold for golf today.

 

Relatively new local from Meridian, MS. Their logo is the historic Threefoot building in downtown Meridian.




I haven't written a full review because the beers are contract brewed and any review would be outdated when production moves in house. Suffice to say this is a bright take on the Pale Ale style with slightly sharp, herbal hops and enough malt to balance.

 

Going with a Wyndridge Farms NEIPA with Honey. It's definitely sweet. Perhaps a touch too sweet for me, but it's still full of complex flavors. Orange, pineapple & other tropical/citrus flavors. As well as the honey. This one (and NEIPAs in general) may not be right up my alley, but, hell, it's 9.0% ABV and I couldn't tell you anything other than it's fruity as hell.

It's warmed up to 32 degrees. Think I'll stay inside.

I wisely chose to finish my household wiring project before launching into this 13.9% sipper. A word of caution: When your wife says one of the girls at work bought a light fixture from Amazon, shut that business down. No one who's putting those things together cares if your house burns down. Sketchiest? fixture I've ever seen.

Well, hello everyone.





My first CBS. I didn’t think it was within my budget last year but since this is my first beer since July I guess $22 is within budget.

Had to make some radical dietary changes and now it’s time to see what can tolerably be reintroduced into my diet.

This CBS is much boozier than I expected. Glad I opened it early, it’s going to take me the rest of the day to sip this down.
