    New year, trying to keep resolutions like more vaping and less smoking, losing some extra pounds/fat and the toughest one: less posting on forums...

    From last night (didn't get a chance to post it then)... Fat Head's Super Juicy JuJu... Just an unreal beer... Take JuJu which is already probably one of the best WC DIPA's available and fruit it with tangelos, mangos and oranges? My gawd. 10/10.

    It’s roughly a 20 minute walk off our ridge/neighborhood into the village of Stockbridge. Lots of (7?) thrift stores for Mrs. Z, 2 cheese mongers, a butcher, a fish guy, small shops galore, and my local pub - Stockbridge Tap...on cask - Thornbridge Brewery’s “Tonttu”, an American style Red, posited as a “Christmas Ale”:



    Having a last beer with my new friends before moving on... Cheers from Stockbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland!

    Good to hear you got snow as far south as Las Cruces... y'all need it! So does the Elephant Butte reservoir... pretty pathetic levels last time I checked. Cheers!

    Sitting down with a nice, fresh Troegs Nugget Nectar. Looks awesome, thick, slowly fading head with great lacing. Clear, burnt amber color. Smells & tastes of hops, mango & pine. I've seen the Nugget Nectar thread, and folks seem worried about the year-to-year consistency. I've never run into a bad batch. And the one I'm drinking now didn't come from a bad batch, either. It's outstanding. Still an annual treat.
