Got this Other Half beer and several others from a friend on the east coast. Drinking pretty good with a few months on it. Cheers

 

Toppling Goliath's Thresher Wheat IPA......Big IPA flavors, with a mellow creamy wheat base. Good beer.

 

Other Half Oh . . . Forever.

 

This is drinking mighty fine.

 

Excellent fruit saison. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, red grape, citrus peel, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, spicy rye bready malts; light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; peppery yeast/rye spiciness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, sticky hops, and fruit tang/tannins in the moouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter/spicy/carbonated dryness, no astringency. Very smooth, pretty refreshing, 5%. Great balance of juicy/jammy raspberries, Brett/Saison yeast complexity, earthy hops, and a solid pale/rye malt backbone. Really well done. 4

Excellent and hilarious song, the first song that comes to mind when I think of Florida. Haha. Despite its title, I actually do want to move to Florida, though. It's supposed to be -11 F with a massive snowstorm this weekend and I am dreading it.

 

This is a beauty. Tasting notes say white peach, mango, and nectarine - I’m getting all that and more. Cheers BA!

Write Drunk, Edit Sober. Incredible NEIPA. Fantastic lasting head retention/thick lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy, silky, bready, grainy malts; light sticky hops, and slight resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 7.2%. Amazing Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado profile. Extremely juicy, and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering resin dryness. They nailed yet another one as expected. Will buy a full pack. 4.28
