    Soaking up some rays with a second Jai Alai on the balcony:



    Productive afternoon...I got 2/3rds of the fridge cleaned out/washed down...nearly filled a garbage bag with old and/or expired stuff. Tomorrow I’ll tackle the mail. This evening I may walk to the pub and a drink a few with my buddy who works there. Cheers!

    Drinking Hi Wire Twice as Nice Doppelbock. Fantastic example of the style, smooth and highly flavorful. I needed this after today.

    The smell from this beer is amazing. The Bomb series is amongst the best IPAs I drink and the Nelson one might be the best. Simply fantastic

    This is brewed with 8 different new German hop varieties, giving it a very herbal, grassy character with ligher orchard fruit and berry notes. A little weird, but I like it. I would also bet money that there are copious amount of Polaris in there.

    I didn't really care for that last beer from Barrier, albeit decent. I think they fell victim of attempting to straddle the line between east vs. west. Not everyone can do it. Hopefully this offering from Revision brings me some joy. Edit: I took a sip before posting. It's pretty f*cking good. Cheers.

    Sunglazer. An IPA brewed by Charles Town Fermentory. I think they collaborated with Triple Crossing awhile back. I liked it so I thought I would try own their own brews. Surpised to find it in Richmond.
