Finished off the Marshal Zukhov
Other Half Oh...Forever. Stunning DIPA. Their non-lactose shit is amazing.
Last round at other half
All lactose everything cheers
Sundays are great, except for Monday morning.
It's Slam time
Had to clean off my usual beer pic railing outside - was missing taking beer pics out there
7 weeks til spring!
Haha, I was in there for about a half hour. Me and my buddy, we left a little after 1:30. Cheers bro
@JayORear haha, missed you too. We were in Grimm early, before 1. Beautiful space, they have some great beers right now. Cheers to you too.
Hold onto your buts....It's......showtime! First time trying Sue Fresh (only a month out). My opinion? It takes like marijuana and popcorn. I need to decide on a movie to watch but, my love for the halflings leaf has clearly slowed my mind.
Always dig it...
Unintentional WBAYDN. Don't know if you can see from the pic, but the top of the bottle got nicked during transport (well, really when I was taking it out of the box to store.) And so the beer was spilling everywhere.
American Solera This is Not a Scam. A dry-hopped Farmhouse Ale aged in Oak Foeder. Pretty good for what it is. Wish I could have had it the normal way, and after a little of refrigeration. Let's see if the store has another bottle...
Thanks for not drinking up all the lactose cheers man
While overpriced... (at least here in SF), Sump is the best (overwhelmingly coffee, therefore it's the best!) distributed coffee stout IMO. I have to say I'm jealous. I haven't had that beer in a couple years.
This stuff is pretty darn tasty and only $10.99 a 4 rack.
Finishing up the bottle
Someone else posted Joanna Newsom yesterday. Very odd that I would see her two days in a row here. I like her music very much but certainly an acquired taste. My wife thinks she sounds like Maggie Simpson
Finally gettin' 'round to havin' a beer. Very nice!
Have some T.O.R.I.S. on deck after my pFriem Double IPA...always love Hoppin' Frog offerings and it's nice to usually find it on tap when returning to my home state (nicer still to grab a few bottles of something to bring back to CO)...
Steam Theory Mind The Gap -- nice brown ale from Dallas, TX.
Wand from Half Acre. Weak label art by Half Acre standards. But it’s inside that counts!
You know I usually very much enjoy their stuff as well. Can't say I purchase much but I do like everything I've had. They do a fantastic job. Naked Evil is one of my personal whales.
pFriem's 'Double IPA'
This one rated a solid '4' overall from me and would have been more except I picked up on very little aroma to the beer (I gave it a 3.25!). The appearance, taste, and mouthfeel were all 4.25 or better. Regardless, this is a killer DIPA...
Arrogant Bastard, I'm not worthy? Bullshit!
Damn man it's like you robbed a vault full of king sue.
You know ... I was pretty disappointed with this purchase the other day. For some reason it's really hitting the right spot now. Cheers !
Wicked Weed's BA French Toast. I just reviewed it on the NBS thread. I was a little disappointed. To me it was a little bland and distractingly boozy.
One and done, gotta fast for 12 hours for lab work in the morning. Enjoying a Resilience with some home made spicy chicken soup.
Plunder from Friday’s haul.
Moonraker - Papillon DIPA featuring Strata, Citra & Simcoe. This is nothing shy of a hoppy juice bomb. Probably one of my favorites I’ve had from Moonraker yet. Plus, love the can art.
Okay, twist my arm. I’ll have another if you’re buying.
The weekend went by way to fast as usual!
Enjoying this Monday Night Gingerbread Stout and listening to Mike Stern rip on the great Thelonius Monk tune I stole my name from. Cheers!
Happy Birthday to her Lordness........30's in ME and 60's in NM...the makings for a nice b-day.
A somewhat odd, but but nicely balanced Baltic Porter that almost reminds me more of a Black IPA.
Voodoo Ranger - Cheers !
It was actually me both times. I don't often listen to artists two days in a row, but yesterday I listened to Divers for probably the sixth time, and it was the best experience I've had in the 10+ years I've been listening to her, so today I played part three of Have One On Me.
The head on this is unrealll! Always a good choice.
