What beer are you drinking now? #2314

Happy Wednesday ba. Up and at it with my last bottle of expo on hand. I never saw this years ba version out here. But I can, and probably will, grab at least another pack of these,

 

Right along here ba. Green Islands, ddh version ipa, from Sloop brewing. Had this as an NBS review and have to admit this gets better the more I drink it. Lots of nice fruity hop notes with a good dank quality that I did not pick up on, at first try. 1/22/19,

 

Well, decided to stay home and shovel the walk and street once or twice today. After round #1, a sour peach ale from Lost Rhino that’s probably smack between 1 and 2 years old. Bacon, egg, cheese muffin for sustenance:


Exesus Sanctum is the best sour that I’ve tried from LR. The barrel barely sneaks in the back behind a puckering sour of lemon-soured milk and a thin layer peach. Sorta sounds disgusting, but it’s not.

Brown ale for a white morning...
Aroma is roasted malts and coffee. I also pick up a little chocolate, and faint hints from the hops. Feel is thick and creamy, with roasted malts and coffee taste, nutty. A slightly bitter and dry finish.

 

Decided to take a snow day for my bday, and I’m enjoying it all the more with this fine beverage courtesy of @larryi86.

 

Yes, but I don’t want to go there with the RV. Mrs Z arrives tomorrow with the car. Today I’ll hit North Charleston, Bill’s Liqours in Summerville, and I’ve got a birthday coupon for Home Grown beer bar also in Summerville. Cheers!
