good morning - enjoying a day off before going full-tilt into next week....

 

Good morning and/or good afternoon BAs! Snowing again here in NW PA. This time next week I'll be parking my car at PIT before clearing security and heading to TX! Whatever the temperature is there, it'll be better than here. Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Not bad, but at four months old, the citra's just a ghost of its former self.

 

Just so darn tasty and is 10% ABV that drinks like 7%. Wow and cheers.

 

Happy Tuesday ba. Getting into it with bba Framinghammer, the coffee variant, from Jack's Abby. Decently coffee forward, but this is pretty much just the same old good ba version. Really good base/barrel balance with a subtle kiss of roasted coffee.

Another tripel after another long nightshift

Years ago, I used to say I didn't like Belgian beers. Then I began to appreciate Quads and BSDA, but was reluctant to drink the pales. After reviewing three tripels in the last three days, I can say that these tripels are pretty awesome as well.
Two more nights to go! Cheers all

 

Right along here ba. Onto some Java Cask, bba coffee stout, from Victory. Gonna be drinking these a few times a month with a shelf full of single bottles for purchase. Big coffee and an aggressive whiskey barrel,
