I totally 2nd that, 'not a very big fan of sours and that beer blew me away. Enjoy!!!

 

Heady Topper. To be fair, it's getting old though. It's been in the can like six, seven, maybe even EIGHT weeks, nope, check that, hours. Yes, hours. Canned today.

It's pretty decent, as far as beer drinking goes.

My favorite non-barrel aged, non-WHALE english style barleywine. Really underrated, bravo flying dog.

 

I'm digging this. Nice pleasant drinker with enough rye going on to make it interesting.

 

Threw some brie cheese and Virginia ham on some crackers...

...and dumped the rest of my Doom into a pint.


Stumbled onto this show featuring Avenged Sevenfold (in Long Beach, California) yesterday, and it was really impressive. This is one of my favorite songs, with elements of Metallica, GNR, and Maiden:

I've seen these guys live, and while not being a fan of their last two albums, thought this was representative of what they bring to the live performance. Very tight, well-executed shows.

Went to visit the in laws and Mother Nature finally let us have a nice weekend. Then Bambi decided to commit suicide against my vehicle on the way home. Stupid fuckin' deer......(at least all human beings were safe)
