    ok... I'm late to the party for this one... I want to post a few pics from torst in greenpoint brookln...
    First off, holy shit, this place is awesome. It's brewvana, folks.
    Next, I thought I knew what an amazing barrel aged coffee stout is. It's kinda my thing, ya know.
    I. had. no. clue.
    Evil twin even more jesus aged in port barrels. the strongest coffee flavor. The port barrel softened the coffee... didn't compete. Holy crap it was amazing.

    The Petrus Red was average. Petrus Old is about the best sour that's affordable and easy to find but the Red was just too much fruit and not enough sour. The Pistoles was fantastic. We also had Orval earlier before these two which was pretty good.

    Just finished a gigantic salad and took out the trash, so I'm about to open a Hoptimum. Only my second bottle of the season! (Because Hoptimum Season should become a thing.)
